Everyone needs a safe, decent and affordable place to call home. Revera’s employees, residents, partners and families firmly believe this, and take great pride in the charitable partnership we share with Habitat for Humanity Canada. It allows each of us to give back to our communities in real, tangible ways, according to our own unique set of circumstances.

Whether through fundraising events at our long term care homes, retirement residences and support offices across Canada, donations to Habitat ReStores, or by volunteering hours on Habitat build sites, we all play our part. In fact, since 2018 Revera Giving and its many generous supporters have raised more than $1 million for Habitat for Humanity Canada. This is equivalent to more than $4 million in social benefit towards helping families across Canada achieve affordable homeownership.

Habitat for Humanity Canada, like all organizations within the charity sector, has been particularly hard hit by COVID-19. Due to restrictions surrounding group gatherings and in the interest of public health, Revera has had to put our traditional fundraising activities on hold, including the annual Revera Giving Golf Tournament and Rocktober charity concert. The need for funding hasn’t disappeared, but many of the mechanisms to deliver the dollars have. At least for now. That is why we are hoping you will consider a donation to Habitat.

Any amount you can give, large or small, will help Habitat Canada to continue to support communities across the country through this challenging time. Tax receipts will automatically be generated with each donation.
