Every year, the Meaning of Home contest asks students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 to submit essays or poems reflecting on what a home means to them.

As part of the 2022 Meaning of Home writing contest, our Founding Sponsor Sagen™ and Award Sponsors Chapman’s Ice Cream, Home Trust and Urban Systems Foundation are altogether contributing a total of $305,000 in support of students’ efforts.
