Revera & Habitat for Humanity Canada

2020 marks Revera’s third year of partnering with Habitat for Humanity Canada. 2019 was an extremely successful year, with more than $500,000 raised through our site-level fundraising, two major events and donations to ReStores across the country.

Of the $540,000, more than $100,000 of that was the direct result of hard work, creativity and employee and resident engagement at fundraising events in Revera’s 173 Retirement Residences and Long Term Care Homes across Canada. If that’s not enough, Revera employees also volunteered in 20 Build Days across the country with a total of 262 employees donating more than 1,900 volunteer hours. Our plan is to top that in 2020.

This year, Revera hopes to raise even more funds for Habitat for Humanity Canada to help provide affordable housing to many more deserving families across Canada. To help Revera meet its 2020 fundraising goal, each Residence and Home has been tasked to hold at least one fundraising event this year. We’ve left the planning details to them because we know that every community has their own way of bringing people together. We hope you will donate to this effort and help us to raise as much as possible.
